ColorCase, in partnership with Pelican Products, Inc. and GunFoam.com, held its first ever Law Enforcement Appreciation evening in support of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation on June 15, 2024. The event was the culmination of a month-long fundraising campaign which raised $15,000 for the LVMPD Foundation.
The LMVPD Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1999 that exists to support the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department by providing extra funding and resources for training, equipment, and community engagement initiatives through the donations of individuals and corporate sponsors. "We're able to raise funding to get critical gaps closed up with regards to community engagement and building relationships, especially in underserved neighborhoods. Then, looking at technology trends that might take several years to get in the county budget, we're able to provide funding to test and prove things out, and then justify the case for expanding that funding," said Karen Marben, Executive Director of the LVMPD Foundation.
ColorCase began a relationship with the LVMPD Foundation as a corporate sponsor earlier this year. "We wanted to reach out to the local community here in Las Vegas, and give back to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a way of saying thank you, so that's why we're here tonight, " said Adam Gerard, Vice President of ColorCase.
Representatives from ColorCase, Pelican Products, and the Las Vegas Police Department Foundation were in attendance for the donation check presentation. ColorCase is an authorized distributor of Pelican Products, known primarily for their world-class and industry leading protective cases used by military, paramilitary, and local law enforcement organizations and agencies all around the world. "The partnership with ColorCase is an exceptional one. It goes back years, they're a preferred partner of ours, and we work very closely together, not only on developing new products, segments, and markets, but also on supporting the community. This is a great initiative and we're proud to be in partnership with them. It's great for the community and great for the people that use our cases." said Stefan Corti, Chief Commercial Officer of Pelican Products.

Officers were able to enter the grand prize giveaways by checking in at the ColorCase Flagship store at Town Square Mall during the month of May. Each officer received a limited edition ColorCase x LVMPD Foundation Pelican Ridge mug, and was entered into the grand prize giveaway raffle. ColorCase pledged to donate $50 per participating officer to the Foundation up to $15,000, and had just over 300 officer check-ins, meeting the fundraising goal.
Those in attendance also received Savior Equipment gift bags with an event T-shirt, Pelican Ruck case, and Pelican flashlight inside. Atendees were also entered into additional giveaways that included Pelican coolers, flashlights, and rifle cases.
